Compliance Verification Program
Why Should NATM Members Be Compliant?
Education - Our compliance consultants will spend the needed time, answering your questions, to help you understand applicable federal and recognized industry standards and regulations as set out in the NATM Guidelines for Minimum Manufacturing Practices.
Decals - Displaying the NATM Compliance Decal on your trailers reflects your commitment to promoting a safer trailer industry. The decal is only available to members that have passed a Guidelines Compliance Consultation.

Regulatory - Having a consultant visit your plant ensures your unique issues are addressed to help your company meet regulatory requirements.

IT’S FREE! - As a Regular member, there is no cost to have a Compliance Consultant visit your plant and, if you purchase compliance decals to display on your trailers, there will be no charge for biennial recertification.

Need More Reasons to Volunteer for the Compliance Program?

Having a third party expert visit your plant adds credibility to your company’s safety efforts, while bringing compliance a step closer to reducing exposure to risk and liability.

Association advertising campaigns and marketing efforts highlight the compliance program and often the companies in compliance.

Our compliance consultants are available after your consultation. Throughout the next 24 months leading up to your recertification, they will continue to work with you, as your product changes or new issues arise, to help ensure you continue to stay compliant.

Quality is the key to success. The first step in a quality program is to meet required specifications. The NATM Compliance Program helps ensure your manufacturing processes are producing trailers meeting federal safety regulations and industry standards.
