Central Trailer Sales Acquires Hastings Trailer Dealer Ace Trailer Sales
Acquisition adds a third Twin Cities location and brings the oldest Aluma dealer in the Midwest into the Central Trailer Sales family
EAST BETHEL, Minn.,— For contractors, farmers and weekend haulers across the Twin Cities, a trusted trailer dealer just got a lot closer to home. Central Trailer Sales, the family-owned dealership founded in East Bethel in 2004, has acquired Ace Trailer Sales of Hastings. Ace has been a fixture of the southeast metro for more than 40 years and is the oldest Aluma dealer in the Midwest, and now joins the Central Trailer Sales family.
With the acquisition, Ace becomes the third location for Central Trailer Sales, which husband-and-wife team Brian and Nan Renstrom founded in East Bethel in 2004 and expanded to Jordan in 2024.
For Brian and Nan, the purchase is about doing more of what their family business has always done: helping customers find the right trailer and keeping it on the road with friendly, expert service. Ace has built its reputation on that same approach for four decades, and together the two businesses can offer customers more trailers to choose from and more hands to help.
"We've always run Central Trailer Sales as a family business that takes care of its neighbors, and Ace has done the same in Hastings for more than 40 years,” said Brian Renstrom, who owns Central Trailer Sales along with his wife, Nan. “Welcoming Ace into our family lets us do more for our customers, and they'll keep getting the friendly, knowledgeable service they've always counted on."
Ace Trailer Sales will continue to operate under its own name at 12090 Margo Ave S in Hastings, with the same phone number and on-site service. Ace will keep carrying the Aluma trailers it is known for, and customers can shop even more trailer brands at Central Trailer Sales' East Bethel and Jordan locations.
