Experience the Expo with Horizon Trailers
When Horizon Trailers team of five headed to Oklahoma City, they weren’t sure what to expect. It was the very first National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) Trailer Expo after all.
They saw a valuable opportunity to increase brand visibility, showcase their membership and compliance with NATM standards, and network with suppliers, dealers, and anyone else interested in learning more about what Horizon is all about.
With a booth decked out with a comfortable lounge, giveaway hats, mugs, and totes, and of course, their trailers, the team was ready to make connections with new and familiar dealers.
“We had a few active dealers there, so we wanted to connect with those guys, to build a relationship with those guys. That was definitely something that we benefited from,” said Rodney Loewen, Sales Manager for Horizon Trailers. “People came in, saw the product, and we built personal relationships with the new dealers out there too."
Horizon’s flat deck, car hauler, and three dump trailers featured at the show drew perspective dealers in and showcased a great sample of what they can expect working with Horizon.
The Horizon team says the planning and set up by NATM Staff allowed them to show up with their booth ready to go. They were able to focus purely on what they went to the show to do - foster relationships and giving their product center stage.
"One thing I liked from NATM, we were there and the trailers were already in position,” said Benny Neufeld, Horizon Trailers Owner and Chairman. “We could go relax a bit. That was very every comfortable.”
“Before we arrived, (NATM) sent an email. They asked how to place everything in the booth. When we showed up, all the trailers were in the booth exactly like we planned out,” Loewen said. “It was very efficient. It just made it much easier for us with this whole process. It was very well organized.”
Horizon Trailers took a chance on the first ever NATM Trailer Expo and walked away with new leads, strengthened partnerships, but a lot fewer mugs, hats, and totes.
