Boardroom Bulletin: Why Advocacy Matters

The 2026 NATM Regulatory Roundup and Capitol Hill Visits once again showcased the power of a unified industry voice. Bringing members to Washington, DC, this event provided valuable opportunities to connect directly with policymakers and gain insight into the regulatory landscape impacting the light- and medium-duty trailer industry. 

During their time on Capitol Hill, members met with legislators and their staff to share real-world perspectives on the challenges our businesses face. These conversations play a critical role in helping decision-makers better understand our industry and the importance of policies that support its continued growth.  

While this year’s event has concluded, advocacy remains an ongoing effort, and there are several ways to stay involved.
