Hooklift Bumper Design from Stellar Showcases Strength and Versatility
Garner, Iowa — (August 10, 2026) — Stellar Industries, a 100% employee-owned and -operated manufacturer of high-quality work trucks, trailers and service truck and van accessories, is excited to announce that its new standard bumper design for the popular NXT™ Series Hooklifts is now available for order. Designed for maximum versatility and ease of installation, these bumpers are available in both bolt-on and welded configurations for all new NXT Series orders.
Built for durability and performance, the new bumper design simplifies installation while allowing operators to seamlessly add essential accessories, including cameras, hitch options and gladhands. The bumpers come in two capacity options: the 20K, designed for Class 3 – 6 chassis with a 20,000-lb pull capacity, and the 90K, built for Class 7 and 8 chassis with a 90,000-lb pull capacity. 
This refined bumper design was developed and tested over the past two years, utilizing data-focused structural testing to ensure precise hitch load ratings. The project involved an ongoing partnership with Iowa State University’s Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS) to validate multiple configurations under rated load, fatigue and failure conditions. This rigorous testing ensures that customers receive a product backed by proven performance and structural integrity.
