NATM Says Farewell To Executive Director Kendra Ansley And Welcomes Interim Director Alex Stowe

Posted By: Kendra Ansley NATM News,

After 10 years with NATM, and 5 years as Executive Director, it’s bittersweet to announce that I am leaving the organization in early November. Having joined the staff just after college, I could not have asked for a better organization with which to begin my professional journey. From incredible staff to Board members who were happy to share their wisdom, and members who were kind and generous beyond measure, I am a better person and employee because of each of you. As I venture into a new opportunity that is a better fit for me and my young family, I will always remain a supporter of NATM and the trailer manufacturing industry.

While change can sometimes be challenging, I have been working alongside our Board and staff to ensure a smooth transition. Meeting member needs and delivering value rank among the highest of priorities as the Association recalibrates and a strong plan is in place. Alex Stowe, NATM’s former Technical Director, has been named Interim Executive Director. Stowe, a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law, boasts an extensive legal compliance background, working for several of our nation’s top universities. His legal acumen has already paid dividends to NATM’s Compliance Verification Program (CVP) – quickly and accurately interpreting regulations to answer member questions and improve the CVP.   Alex also holds a B.S. in Accounting and will offer great value-add to NATM’s financial processes moving forward. Most importantly, since joining NATM in November 2021, Alex has proven himself to be customer service oriented, both with members and staff alike. I am excited to see all Alex accomplishes in his tenure and do not doubt that our members will benefit from his leadership.

This transition is well timed as NATM will soon embark on its 2023-2026 Strategic Plan. Alex will be able to see this plan through from the ground floor, having helped to develop it alongside the Board in summer/fall 2022. As of November 3rd, Alex will be taking over many functions relating to Government Affairs, the NATM PAC, finances, and Board interaction as well as supporting most of NATM’s ongoing projects. If you have any questions about the transition or would like to congratulate Alex on his new role, you can reach Alex at Alex.Stowe@natm.com. Of course, you are welcome to reach out to me at Kendra.Ansley@natm.com through November 2nd or connect with me on LinkedIn at www.linkedin.com/in/kendra-ansley.
