Introducing: Lunch & Legislation A New Take on Government Affairs at NATM
For years, NATM Members have valued our Government Affairs Workshop for its ability to break down complex legislation into practical, industry-specific insights. In 2026, the Association is elevating this experience. This year, the traditional government affairs workshop is being upgraded to Lunch & Legislation— an interactive panel discussion taking place during lunch and designed to bring policy conversations to center stage.
Led by Brody Garland and Brian Hopkins of K&L Gates, the session will feature panelists from the NATM Government Affairs Committee, offering attendees a front-row seat to:
- A high-level Administration outlook from K&L Gates.
- Insight into federal actions and proposals that could impact trailer manufacturers, dealers, and suppliers.
- Committee members’ reflections on Regulatory Roundup and firsthand experiences engaging with policymakers.
- Practical guidance on how advocacy efforts directly strengthen NATM’s mission.
Advocacy is a cornerstone of NATM’s mission, and it allows members’ voices to be heard on Capitol Hill and ensures the unique needs of light- and medium-duty trailer industry aren’t overlooked.
This session will underscore the power of industry advocacy, the importance of legislative awareness, and the value of staying engaged. It’s truly one you won’t want to miss - join NATM for the new Lunch and Legislation on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 11:15 a.m.
