Celebrating Women, Strengthening Connections, and Growing with NATM
At NATM, our strength comes from the people and businesses that make up this Association. One of the most rewarding parts of being involved with NATM is seeing the many ways our members connect, learn, and support one another. From industry recognition to educational resources, NATM continues to create opportunities that help our community grow stronger together.
As we recognize Women’s History Month this March, it’s a great time to highlight the many women contributing to the success of the trailer industry. One example is NATM’s Woman Crush Wednesday campaign. Originally launched in 2019 as part of NATM’s strategic plan, the campaign shines a spotlight on women across the industry, from the manufacturing floor to leadership roles, who are making an impact within their companies and communities.
These stories showcase the wide range of opportunities available in the trailer industry. With women making up about 29% of the manufacturing workforce, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, initiatives like this help highlight the talent already driving our industry forward while encouraging more women and young professionals to explore careers in manufacturing. If you know an inspiring woman in the trailer industry or would like to share your own story, consider signing up or submitting a nomination to be featured in an upcoming Woman Crush Wednesday spotlight.
NATM is also expanding opportunities for connection through the new Women Tow-gether Committee. This committee brings together women from across the trailer industry, including both manufacturers and dealers, to foster connection, mentorship, and leadership development. By creating a space for collaboration and support, the committee aims to strengthen relationships across the industry while helping members grow both professionally and personally.
In addition, NATM continues to provide valuable learning opportunities through our Educational Webinar program. Members have access to live sessions as well as a growing library of free on-demand webinars, offering practical insights to help strengthen operations and support continued professional development. We have upcoming webinars in May, June, and September.
I encourage all members to engage with these programs, follow along with Woman Crush Wednesday, explore the webinar library, and get involved in initiatives that support our industry’s continued growth.
